Zulay Kitchen was kind enough to send me a beautiful French press and a milk frother. If you are looking for an amazing frother, French press, or any other kitchen product, you can get 10% off your whole order using my code SHALYSSASEATZ10 HERE. All of their products are simply amazing!
Usually people use a frother to froth the milk a little. I decided to keep frothing and see how thick it would get. I was definitely drooling at how creamy and thiccc it was! It was almost like a mousse/whip. I used the French press to make some coffee, then poured it over ice. Then I used that coffee and the "Whip" to create a delicious mocha latte!
Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of coffee ( if you have iced coffee you can use that. I used my French press for coffee)
- Ice
- 1/4 cup of heavy cream
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Mocha syrup
- 1/4 cup almond milk (or whatever milk preference)
Method:
First, get your coffee ready. This is important if you're using hot coffee so you can let it cool down a bit before icing it.
Next you're gonna make your whip. Gather the heavy cream, cocoa, and sugar in a small glass and froth for about 20-25 minutes. Basically you're frothing away until it gets to that thick consistency we want.
Line your coffee cup with mocha syrup, then followed by ice, coffee, almond milk, and whip.
Viola! Top with more toppings if you please (chocolate chips, more mocha) ENJOY :)
